Performed a chemical cleaning of the condenser coil. Removed all condenser covers, thoroughly rinsed the coil, applied coil cleaner, and ensured all cleaner was fully washed off before reassembling the unit. Recommended removing and cleaning the blower wheel; customer approved. Pulled out the blower wheel, cleaned and sanitized it thoroughly. Applied microbial treatment and cleaned/sanitized the entire air handler cabinet, including the drain pan and accessible wiring. Installed a UV light system with a separate transformer. Tested UV operation and confirmed proper functionality. Tested full system operation, including: * System pressures * Subcooling and superheat * Temperature split * Compressor amperage * Fan motor amperage At this time, the system is operating properly. All components are clean, sanitized, and functioning within normal parameters.
Performed a diagnostic on a Boreal mini split system due to error code C0. Upon inspection, I checked system pressures and found the unit completely out of refrigerant, reading approximately 3 PSI. Based on the condition of the system, I recommended full equipment replacement. The customer agreed to receive a proposal. I contacted the office to submit the lead, and Kenneth provided the proposal to the customer. At this time, the unit is temporarily down and not operational.
Performed preventive maintenance on a package unit located in Franklin. Inspected and tested system operation in cooling mode. Checked system pressures and verified proper temperature split. Inspected electrical components including contactor and capacitor—both are operating within normal condition. Measured compressor amps, condenser fan motor amps, and blower motor amps; all readings are within manufacturer specifications. Cleaned and rinsed the condenser coil and removed debris from inside the condenser compartment to ensure proper airflow and efficiency. Cleaned the drain pan and flushed the drain line, then applied Viper treatment to help prevent buildup. Verified UV light is operational and functioning properly. Performed a diagnostic on a Tottukool air conditioning system due to the customer’s complaint that the air handler fan motor was running continuously. Upon inspection, I found that the customer had recently replaced the thermostat and wired it incorrectly. The electric heat wire (white wire) was connected to the wrong terminal (W1). Since this is a heat pump system, I relocated the white wire to the correct auxiliary heat (AUX) terminal. After correcting the wiring, the system began operating normally. I tested the system in cooling mode and checked system pressures, superheat, temperature split, compressor amperage, condenser fan motor amperage, and blower motor amperage. All readings were within normal operating range, and the system is running properly at this time. The customer expressed interest in a maintenance agreement. However, the property is co-owned with his brother, and he will need to discuss it with him before making a decision. The customer stated he may contact us i

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions about our range of HVAC services. If yours isn’t mentioned, just get in touch with us and we’ll provide you with an answer as soon as possible.
It’s recommended to schedule HVAC maintenance at least once a year. For best performance, have your AC checked in the spring and your heating system serviced in the fall.
If your AC is over 10-15 years old, frequently breaks down, or struggles to cool your home efficiently, it may be time for a replacement. If the issue is minor and the unit is still in good condition, a repair might be the better option.
A sudden increase in energy costs can indicate an inefficient HVAC system. Dirty filters, leaky ducts, or an aging unit can cause your system to work harder, consuming more energy. Regular maintenance helps improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Change your air filter every 1-3 months, depending on usage, allergies, and pets. A clean filter improves airflow, helps maintain indoor air quality, and extends the life of your system.
During the summer, set your thermostat to 78°F when you’re home and higher when away. During the winter, keep it at 68°F for energy savings. A programmable or smart thermostat can help optimize comfort and efficiency.
With proper maintenance, most HVAC systems last 10-15 years. However, factors like usage, climate, and upkeep can impact their lifespan. Regular servicing helps extend their longevity.

Ductless AC systems are energy-efficient, easy to install, and provide zoned cooling for better temperature control. They’re a great option for homes without existing ductwork.
Regularly changing air filters, installing air purifiers, using a dehumidifier, and ensuring proper ventilation can significantly improve indoor air quality. We also offer professional air quality testing and filtration solutions.
Unusual sounds like banging, rattling, or screeching can signal issues such as loose components, motor problems, or airflow restrictions. If you hear anything unusual, it’s best to schedule an inspection before it leads to a bigger problem.
