Performed a diagnostic on a Daikin heat pump system displaying Error Code 41 (High-Pressure Fault). Upon inspection, the outdoor condenser coil appeared clean from the exterior; however, further inspection revealed the coil was heavily clogged internally with debris, restricting airflow and causing the system to operate at excessively high head pressure. This restriction was the cause of the high-pressure fault. Recommended condenser coil cleaning to restore proper airflow and system operation. Customer approved the repair. Completed a thorough condenser coil cleaning and restarted the system. After allowing the unit to stabilize, verified system operation by checking refrigerant pressures, subcooling, superheat, and temperature split. All readings were within normal operating range, and the system is cooling properly at this time. Repair Performed: * Diagnosed Error Code 41 high-pressure fault * Identified restricted airflow due to internally clogged condenser coil * Cleaned cond
Performed a diagnostic on the master bedroom Trane 1.5-ton R-22 system. Upon inspection, I found the condensate drain line clogged. I also observed the blower wheel heavily compacted with debris and bacterial growth inside the air handler cabinet. The condenser contactor was severely pitted and showing signs of wear. I reviewed the findings and repair options with the customer. The customer approved the following repairs: * Drain line service (Level 3) * Microbial growth treatment * Contactor replacement The customer declined the following recommendations at this time: * Blower wheel cleaning * UV light installation * Maintenance agreement enrollment * Top-of-unit microbial treatment Due to the age and condition of the system, as well as the evaporator coil being heavily rusted, I performed a complimentary leak search on the evaporator coil. No active refrigerant leak was detected at this time. However, the system is operating outside of manufacturer specifications. The temperatu
Performed a diagnostic on a 3-ton Carrier system. Upon arrival, I found the evaporator coil and suction line freezing due to the indoor blower motor not operating. I performed diagnostic testing on the blower motor and confirmed the motor has failed and will need to be replaced. A proposal was provided for blower motor replacement. During the full system inspection, I found the blower wheel heavily compacted with debris, which places additional stress on the blower motor and reduces airflow. The evaporator coil is also heavily impacted with dirt and debris and requires cleaning. Due to the condition of the coil, I recommended a pull-and-clean evaporator coil cleaning service. I also found the contactor badly pitted and worn. Replacement is recommended to prevent future electrical failures. The system has not received maintenance in approximately two years. I recommended a preventive maintenance service, including cleaning and treating the drain line, cleaning the condenser coil, and
Performed a diagnostic on the downstairs unit. Upon inspection, I found debris in the drain pan, heavy algae buildup inside the drain line, bacterial growth inside the air handler cabinet, and bacteria and debris accumulated on the blower wheel. I also found the condenser coil heavily compacted with dirt and in need of cleaning. I provided an estimate for the recommended repairs, including blower wheel removal and cleaning, microbial treatment, condenser coil cleaning, Drain Line Service Level 3, and the diagnostic service call. The proposal was sent to the property management company, and they will contact the homeowner for approval. At this time, approval was given for the Drain Line Service Level 3 and condenser coil cleaning only. I applied Drain Solve to the drain line and allowed it to work while performing the condenser coil cleaning. I removed the condenser covers, applied coil cleaner, and thoroughly cleaned the condenser coil. Afterward, I vacuumed the drain line to remove
During today’s visit, the drain line was found to be clogged, causing the float switch to trip and shut the system down. A Level 2 drain line service was performed to clear the blockage and restore operation. The system is now running and cooling properly. While inspecting the 2013 Carrier system, several additional recommendations were identified to improve reliability, efficiency, and indoor air quality. These include evaporator coil cleaning, blower wheel cleaning, contactor replacement, capacitor replacement, microbial growth treatment, UV light installation, and surge protection for both the indoor and outdoor equipment. Additionally, slight traces of refrigerant were detected near the evaporator coil area with an electronic leak detector. At this time, the detection was not strong enough to confirm an active refrigerant leak, and system pressures remain stable. Continued monitoring is recommended, and further leak diagnostics may be needed if future refrigerant-related issues d
Performed a diagnostic on a Goodman R-22 air conditioning system 20yrs old. Upon arrival, found the outdoor condenser not receiving 240 volts. Inspected the electrical panel and found the breaker tripped. Reset the breaker and attempted to restart the system; however, the breaker tripped again immediately. Performed electrical testing on the compressor and found the compressor shorted to ground. The grounded compressor is causing the breaker to trip and preventing system operation. Due to compressor failure, the system is unable to operate properly. Notified property management of the findings and advised that the system will require replacement due to the failed compressor and the age of the R-22 equipment. Contacted the office and created a lead for a new system replacement estimate. There were communication difficulties with the customer on site. Per Adam and Heather, the invoice will be sent directly for billing. Findings: * Outdoor condenser not receiving 240 volts. * Breaker

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions about our range of HVAC services. If yours isn’t mentioned, just get in touch with us and we’ll provide you with an answer as soon as possible.
It’s recommended to schedule HVAC maintenance at least once a year. For best performance, have your AC checked in the spring and your heating system serviced in the fall.
If your AC is over 10-15 years old, frequently breaks down, or struggles to cool your home efficiently, it may be time for a replacement. If the issue is minor and the unit is still in good condition, a repair might be the better option.
A sudden increase in energy costs can indicate an inefficient HVAC system. Dirty filters, leaky ducts, or an aging unit can cause your system to work harder, consuming more energy. Regular maintenance helps improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Change your air filter every 1-3 months, depending on usage, allergies, and pets. A clean filter improves airflow, helps maintain indoor air quality, and extends the life of your system.
During the summer, set your thermostat to 78°F when you’re home and higher when away. During the winter, keep it at 68°F for energy savings. A programmable or smart thermostat can help optimize comfort and efficiency.
With proper maintenance, most HVAC systems last 10-15 years. However, factors like usage, climate, and upkeep can impact their lifespan. Regular servicing helps extend their longevity.

Ductless AC systems are energy-efficient, easy to install, and provide zoned cooling for better temperature control. They’re a great option for homes without existing ductwork.
Regularly changing air filters, installing air purifiers, using a dehumidifier, and ensuring proper ventilation can significantly improve indoor air quality. We also offer professional air quality testing and filtration solutions.
Unusual sounds like banging, rattling, or screeching can signal issues such as loose components, motor problems, or airflow restrictions. If you hear anything unusual, it’s best to schedule an inspection before it leads to a bigger problem.
