Performed a diagnostic on a 3-ton Goodman air handler manufactured in 2021 with a 2022 condenser. System is not registered. Upon inspection, I found the system running low on refrigerant, with high superheat and low subcooling. I checked compressor amperage, fan motor amperage, system pressures, subcooling, superheat, and temperature split. The capacitor was tested and found to be within tolerance. The contactor is pitted and recommended for replacement. I also inspected the drain pan and drain line and found them dirty with algae and bacterial buildup. The evaporator coil was found to be freezing due to the system being low on refrigerant. I performed a complimentary leak search and found multiple refrigerant leaks in the evaporator coil. I contacted the office to verify the system warranty and was advised that the warranty expired in August 2026, approximately one month ago. I prepared a proposal including evaporator coil replacement, five pounds of refrigerant, drain line clean
Performed PCB board replacement. After completing the replacement, I tested the system operation and ran the unit through a complete test cycle. The system is now operating normally in cooling mode. Customer stated that the previous technician did not complete the drain cleaning. I vacuumed the drain line, flushed it with two gallons of water, and primed the drain line. I also added Viper drain treatment.
Very professional and efficient. Was straightforward and helpful, and very clear in describing the situation and prices.
Performed a diagnostic on a 3-ton Goodman straight-cool system. The system was freezing up, so I performed a complete system inspection and leak search. No active refrigerant leak was found using electronic leak detection and UV light. UV dye was previously present in the system, but no visible dye leak was found. The system is low on refrigerant, and based on the inspection, a possible leak is suspected at the suction-line service valve. During the inspection, I also found the return duct damaged and open to the exterior of the trailer. The evaporator coil, condenser coil, and blower wheel are heavily impacted with debris and require cleaning. The contactor was found to be severely pitted and not operating properly. I recommended replacement, and the customer approved the repair. I replaced the contactor and tested the system afterward. The system is operating, but it remains low on refrigerant and is currently operating outside of manufacturer specifications. I presented the custo
Customer renewed for the CubClub Membership and added the mini split. First maintenance is in January and the second in June.
Performed a deep cleaning on the mini-split system. Removed all covers and thoroughly cleaned the evaporator coil, blower wheel, and covers. Reassembled the system and tested operation. The unit is cooling and draining properly at this time.
Performed a diagnostic on the downstairs HVAC system and found the system low on refrigerant. The water dripping from the system is most likely related to the evaporator coil freezing due to the low refrigerant condition. Performed a full system inspection and found the blower wheel heavily impacted with debris, and the evaporator coil has a refrigerant leak. Performed a complementary electronic leak search and confirmed the leak at the evaporator coil. Additional issues found include the blower capacitor and condenser capacitor both being out of tolerance. The condenser contactor is badly pitted, and the condenser coil is heavily impacted with debris. Presented the customer with a repair quote. The customer requested a proposal for system replacement, so I contacted the office and created a lead for Kenneth. I explained to the customer that replacing both systems may qualify for a better overall price and additional discounts. Kenneth arrived on-site and presented the replacement p

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions about our range of HVAC services. If yours isn’t mentioned, just get in touch with us and we’ll provide you with an answer as soon as possible.
It’s recommended to schedule HVAC maintenance at least once a year. For best performance, have your AC checked in the spring and your heating system serviced in the fall.
If your AC is over 10-15 years old, frequently breaks down, or struggles to cool your home efficiently, it may be time for a replacement. If the issue is minor and the unit is still in good condition, a repair might be the better option.
A sudden increase in energy costs can indicate an inefficient HVAC system. Dirty filters, leaky ducts, or an aging unit can cause your system to work harder, consuming more energy. Regular maintenance helps improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Change your air filter every 1-3 months, depending on usage, allergies, and pets. A clean filter improves airflow, helps maintain indoor air quality, and extends the life of your system.
During the summer, set your thermostat to 78°F when you’re home and higher when away. During the winter, keep it at 68°F for energy savings. A programmable or smart thermostat can help optimize comfort and efficiency.
With proper maintenance, most HVAC systems last 10-15 years. However, factors like usage, climate, and upkeep can impact their lifespan. Regular servicing helps extend their longevity.

Ductless AC systems are energy-efficient, easy to install, and provide zoned cooling for better temperature control. They’re a great option for homes without existing ductwork.
Regularly changing air filters, installing air purifiers, using a dehumidifier, and ensuring proper ventilation can significantly improve indoor air quality. We also offer professional air quality testing and filtration solutions.
Unusual sounds like banging, rattling, or screeching can signal issues such as loose components, motor problems, or airflow restrictions. If you hear anything unusual, it’s best to schedule an inspection before it leads to a bigger problem.
